At ST. ROBO, as a Technical Director, you'll be key in crafting and executing tour productions and live events. Your role involves turning innovative concepts into realities and overseeing projects from inception to completion.

1. Propose equipment solutions and audiovisual controls according to the design and budget of a project.
2. Develop plans, technical drawings, and diagrams that show equipment placement, electrical hookups, and show control (video/audio).
3. Oversee equipment in all departments.
4. Act as the main point of contact for producers and directors to ensure each project’s technical efficiency.
5. Establish a relationship between the environment, content, and technologies used (quality control).
6. Develop daily operational procedures in collaboration with integrators.
7. Travel occasionally to supervise project integration.
8. Coordinate space usage and schedule setup and breakdown.
9. Ensure internal technical support.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in engineering, equipment management, and employee supervision, with 3 years in technical direction related to live entertainment and touring.
• Fluent in Vectorworks and Spreadsheets.
• Knowledge in structural engineering and custom builds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skilled in managing human resources and project management.
• Responsible, independent, and organized.
• Resourceful, with attention to detail.
• Team-oriented and innovative.
• Always seeking advancements in animation, design, and scenography.
• Adaptable to evolving environments.
• Generous in sharing best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
