Responsibilities

• Handle all operational purchasing activities to ensure material availability, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-site purchasing for assigned product groups and documentations.
• Review inquiry documents (specifications/drawings) for completeness.
• Negotiate with suppliers on deadlines, prices and other operational matters.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (production, development, quality) on purchasing issues.
• Maintain operational transaction and master data in systems.
• Support strategic purchasing in implementing product group strategies.
• Review and resolve complex discrepancies and deviations.

Responsibilities include handling all operational purchasing activities to ensure material availability in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time. This includes conducting all cross-site operational purchasing activities for assigned product groups and the corresponding documentation; ensuring material availability within assigned product groups; reviewing inquiry documents (e.g., specifications/drawings) for completeness; independently negotiating with suppliers to clarify deadlines, prices, and other operational purchasing matters; coordinating with internal stakeholders (including production, development, and quality) on operational purchasing issues; maintaining operational transaction and master data in tools/systems; supporting strategic purchasing in the implementation of product group strategies; and reviewing and resolving complex discrepancies and deviations.
