Job summary

Gulp AG in Munich is seeking a seasoned purchasing professional to drive end-to-end procurement activities across the product lifecycle. You will advise internal stakeholders, manage complex requirements, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.

Key capabilities include project management, contract law knowledge, SAP proficiency, and excellent communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Advising and serving as the primary contact for internal stakeholders in procurement across the product lifecycle.
• Project-related recording, structuring, and managing complex procurement requirements for standardized processing.
• Independently managing operational and strategic purchasing activities in services, component repair, and material procurement.
• Collaborating with internal interfaces and participating in project meetings.
• Initiating, preparing, and conducting negotiations and coordination meetings with suppliers, on-site and virtually.
• Obtaining and following up on offers, triggering orders, and tracking the supply chain.
• Designing and implementing a transparent reporting and control structure in Jira.

Responsibilities include: advising and serving as the primary contact for internal stakeholders in procurement processes across various phases of the product lifecycle for after-sales products; project-related recording, structuring, and managing complex procurement requirements for standardized and efficient processing by the material and service purchasing departments; independently managing operational and strategic purchasing activities in the areas of services, component repair, and material procurement; close collaboration and regular professional exchange with internal interfaces, as well as active participation in project meetings; initiating, preparing, and conducting negotiations and coordination meetings with suppliers, both on-site and virtually; obtaining and following up on offers, triggering orders, and seamlessly tracking the supply chain; and designing and implementing a transparent reporting and control structure in Jira.

• Successfully completed studies (e.g., business administration, industrial engineering) or a qualified commercial or technical training with several years of sound professional experience in purchasing or project management.
• Sound expertise in project management, contract law (ideally with reference to the PR regulations) as well as a sophisticated legal and commercial understanding.
• Practical expertise in the procurement of purchased parts and services across the various phases of the product life cycle.
• Excellent user knowledge of SAP and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs.
• Fluent German skills and fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork skills, assertiveness, and a confident and professional demeanor.
