CESCO EPC GmbH, part of the CESCO Group, is seeking a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) to support our international purchasing activities. You will manage operational procurement, solicit supplier quotes, prepare orders, and monitor deliveries for ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate has commercial or technical education, experience in purchasing, fluent German and Italian (English a plus), strong communication and ERP skills, and is willing to travel occasionally for audits or training.

Qualifications

• Commercial and/or technical education or comparable qualification.
• Experience in purchasing, ideally in plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical environment
• German and Italian language skills; English is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Manage the operational procurement process
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Prepare and follow-up purchase orders
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure material availability for ongoing projects
• Collaborate with partners and suppliers in Italy
• Maintain procurement-related master data and purchase order data in the ERP system
• Support management in strategic purchasing activities and supplier negotiations when required

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) to support our international purchasing and procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Management of the operational procurement process
• Requesting and comparing supplier quotations
• Preparation and follow-up of purchase orders
• Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring material availability for ongoing projects
• Close cooperation with our partners and suppliers in Italy
• Maintenance of procurement-related master data and purchase order data in the ERP system
• Support of management in strategic purchasing activities and supplier negotiations when required

Qualifications

• Commercial and/or technical education or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical environment
• Very good German and Italian language skills, both written and spoken
• Good English skills are considered an advantage
• Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office applications
• Willingness to travel occasionally to participate in audits or training activities
