Your mission
- Conduct in-depth market evaluations to identify new pharmaceutical intermediates aligned with our strategic portfolio
- Analyze synthetic routes and identify key strategic intermediates to support product development
- Identify, engage, and develop new international customer relationships to grow Midas’s intermediates business
- Promote Midas’s products and services to prospective clients, leveraging the support of affiliated companies
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with external R&D and technical teams to align customer needs with product capabilities
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategy
- Represent Midas at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and build partnerships
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic input to Management
- Contribute to the strategic direction and growth objectives of the division through market insights and business intelligence
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Chemistry; a background in Economic Chemistry is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, with a proven track record in sales or business development
- Strong industry network within the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in intermediates and APIs
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-motivated approach to business development
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 25%)
