Technical 3D Model Coordinator (m / w / d) - Offshore Platform Design

Your Responsibilities :

• Oversee and coordinate the interdisciplinary development of offshore converter platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration between engineering teams.
• Close collaboration between structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines to ensure efficient project execution.
• Integration of mechanical and electrical systems in 3D models of offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Facilitate technical reviews, design validation meetings, and project coordination discussions.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Identify and address design conflicts, providing technical clarifications to suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Implement and refine design guidelines and best practices for offshore platforms to improve efficiency and reliability.

Your Profile :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in offshore or plant engineering (a big plus), with a strong background in interdisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadmatic, CATIA, E3D) and PLM / PDM systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and offshore design guidelines (a big plus).
• Experience in 3D modeling and collision detection.
• Strong organizational skills, structured and solution-oriented work approach, and excellent communication abilities.
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a big plus.
