Job Description

These tasks await you:

• Lead controlling activities for the plant and support strategic and operational planning
• Execute monthly closing and reporting according to standards
• Prepare standard reports for plant and business management and review monthly results (P&L)
• Prepare budgets and forecasts based on production volumes
• Ensure financial goals are met and activities are conducted according to the established budget
• Interface with plant, segment, and BA functions to gather local controlling requirements and feedback
• Participate in and steer local controlling projects
• Ensure compliance with Continental finance and accounting guidelines, controlling systems, tools, standards, and processes, maintaining high data quality and transparency
• Conduct production, investment, and personnel controlling according to standards (cost calculation, variation analysis, cost center controlling)
• Handle special tasks and ad-hoc analyses
• Execute upcoming special projects (e.g., transitioning daily evaluations to PowerBI, restructuring cost centers, harmonizing reporting)

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, controlling, or a related discipline
• Extensive professional experience in finance and controlling roles
• Cross-functional experience in production, supply chain, quality, or CBS is preferred
• Initial experience in rubber and plastic production processes
• Several years in leadership positions, preferably in operational units with both functional and disciplinary responsibilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Solid knowledge of SAP R/3 CO
• Familiarity with MS PowerBI
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
• Experience working with international teams on production topics and understanding of different cultures
• Good communication skills
