Job Title: Team Lead for Core Data Process Engineering

Role Purpose: The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in empowering investment professionals by overseeing the technical transformation and enrichment of our clients' data. This role involves providing added value across all facets of Investment Data, ensuring it serves as refined material that alleviates our clients' workload. The incumbent will guide the team in leveraging state-of-the-art warehousing concepts and technologies to transform data into ready-to-use information, forming the foundation of IDS' services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Management: Manage the team of experts, support and foster performance, take disciplinary responsibility, prioritize tasks, develop, coach, and motivate direct reports.
2. Functional Management: Manage implementation and provision of core data processes in close cooperation with Sales & Account Management, Client Operations, and Business Analysis to support client needs for Analysis and Reporting Services; ensure solution designs align with IDS' overall Business and IT Architecture; promote technological innovation and continuous improvement; work with Enterprise Architecture on modernization initiatives; ensure compliance with data software development lifecycle policies and establish consistent guidelines in data warehousing.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• University degree in (business) information technology, mathematics, economics with IT focus, or comparable experience
• Several years of professional leadership experience
• Profound knowledge of Data Warehousing and Application Development concepts
• Work experience involving Financial Markets, Accounting, Risk, or Performance Analytics, with understanding of complex instruments and asset classes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinking, motivation, autonomy, and high performance willingness
• Ability to develop technical solutions for complex functional requirements
• Solution-oriented mindset with decision-making capabilities
• Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
• High customer orientation with the ability to anticipate needs, recognize trends, and develop value-adding products/services
• Ability to change perspectives and obtain stakeholder buy-in convincingly
• Fluent in English and German
