Your Responsibilities

Do you enjoy taking on responsibility, providing guidance, and effectively driving quality forward? Then you’ve come to the right place. As the Team Leader for Quality Engineering (d/m/w), you’ll provide technical leadership to our team, strengthen our structures, and—together with your colleagues (d/m/w)—ensure high product quality and reliable processes. In this role, you’ll combine leadership with operational and strategic quality work and proactively help shape improvements.

• You will provide technical leadership to our team of quality engineers (m/f/d), offering guidance and confidence in decision-making.
• You will further develop processes and structures and strengthen collaboration with related departments.
• You will actively drive continuous improvement—from analysis to effectiveness testing within the PDCA cycle.
• You will apply modern quality techniques in preventive quality planning and develop technical quality concepts.
• You will systematically analyze nonconformities, derive appropriate measures, and ensure sustainable solutions for our internal and external customers.
• You will actively help shape our material group management and take responsibility for effective supplier quality management.
• You will handle purchasing complaints and ensure thorough root cause analysis and reliable solutions.
• You will plan, coordinate, and lead internal and supplier audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of business process management.

Your Profile

For this position, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

• You have a degree in business administration or engineering, or a technical training program with business administration knowledge.
• You have a qualification in the field of quality and, ideally, are certified as an internal and/or supplier auditor.
• You have practical knowledge of modern quality techniques.
• You have several years of professional experience in quality management and/or quality assurance, ideally in mechanical engineering or the semiconductor industry.
• You have already gained several years of experience leading small teams.
• You work analytically, in a structured manner, and with a strong focus on quality.
• You think from the customer’s perspective and take a solution-oriented approach.
• You communicate clearly, professionally, and on an equal footing.
• You have very good English skills and, ideally, have already worked with international clients.
• You are proficient in MS Office 365 and, ideally, also familiar with an ERP system.
