Job summary

OHB SE Bremen seeks an Engineering Team Lead to manage a multi-disciplinary group on satellite programs. You will plan work, coordinate with project managers and proposal managers on resource needs, and ensure timely delivery of skilled personnel across projects.

You will drive knowledge sharing, implement lessons learned, and foster professional development while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal guidelines. Fluent English desired; German helpful.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent.
• Distinctive leadership experience with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional experience in satellite projects.
• Self-managed and proactive working style.
• Ability to implement and improve processes.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team.
• English written and spoken; German preferred.

Responsibilities

• Disciplinary responsibility for the members of the team.
• Be the point of contact for project managers and proposal managers on resource needs.
• Be the point of contact for the employees on technical matters and professional development.
• Scheduling of staff incl. cooperation in the recruitment of personnel.
• Cooperation with the line managers of the department.
• Ensure technical information exchange and networking within the team, conduct team meetings to share knowledge between projects.
• Implement lessons learned across projects for systems engineering processes.
• Ensure the quantitative and qualitative timely provision of the required personnel with adequate skills for OHB System AG's projects.
• Plan the work processes and tasks of the team, considering the project constraints, by supporting projects in the bidding process,
• Ensure completion of the allocated tasks productively, effectively and efficiently, taking into account the legal regulations and valid company agreements
• Evaluate compatibility of Technologies and Innovations with existing processes,Support achievement of department goals
