For permanent employment, OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Team Leader for Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

• Disciplinary responsibility for the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) team members
• Responsible for the disciplinary management, employee appointments, annual employee reviews, performance assessment, personal development, organization of team meetings
• Seeking solutions for strategic, planning and organizational issues together with the immediate superior and to implement these within the individual teams
• Implementation of a permanent improvement process
• Cover peak workloads in the projects

MGSE activities:

• Identification of all necessary MGSE (mechanical ground support equipment) for spacecrafts
• Preparation of concepts and generation of specifications for the MGSE as well as its presentation to project management and customers
• Contributions to milestone reviews concerning MGSE activities
• Selection of possible suppliers in cooperation with the supply chain management
• Participation in reviews at the suppliers and in acceptance tests

Your Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with a major in mechanical engineering, space engineering, or other related engineering field
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
• Inventive concerning support and innovation topics
• Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
