Quantum Systems GmbH is seeking a Team Lead Verification & Validation to build and head the V&V function for next-generation C-UAS interceptor systems. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of verification, validation, systems testing, or quality management experience in aerospace/defense or regulated industries.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• Familiarity with requirements-based engineering and verification methodologies.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, release processes, and engineering documentation standards.
• Ideally worked with UAVs, aerospace certification, or defense products.
• Structured, decisive, and capable of balancing technical excellence with project execution.
• Willingness to travel for testing/validation campaigns.
• Clear, confident English communication.

As a Team Lead Verification & Validation, you will be responsible for building and leading the V&V function for our next-generation C-UAS interceptor systems. You will ensure that our products are thoroughly verified, validated, documented, and released according to the highest quality standards before entering operational service.

Working closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware, Software, Flight Test, Production, and Certification teams, you will establish scalable processes that ensure reliability, traceability, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to delivering mission-ready systems for demanding operational environments.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Lead and develop the Verification & Validation, Quality, and Technical Documentation activities within the C-UAS engineering organization.

• Define and execute system-level verification and validation strategies across hardware, software, and integrated system architectures.

• Establish test plans, validation procedures, acceptance criteria, and release processes.

• Coordinate laboratory, integration, ground, and flight-testing campaigns.

• Ensure complete traceability between requirements, verification activities, and test results.

• Own engineering quality processes and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Define and maintain product documentation, test reports, release notes, and technical records.

• Build a high-performing team and continuously improve engineering governance and development processes.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• You have several years of experience in verification, validation, systems testing, or quality management within aerospace, defense, automotive, or another highly regulated industry.

• You have experience leading technical teams and cross-functional engineering initiatives.

• You are familiar with requirements-based engineering and verification methodologies.

• You understand quality management systems, release processes, and engineering documentation standards.

• Ideally, you have worked with UAVs, aerospace certification, or defense products.

• You are structured, decisive, and capable of balancing technical excellence with project execution.

• You are willing to travel as required for testing and validation campaigns
