Siemens Energy in Berlin is seeking a permanent Team Lead (f/m/d) for the Project Management South team within Grid Technology Substations Germany. The role focuses on leadership, developing the PM team, and delivering large turnkey substation projects with strong customer and authority liaison.

You will oversee recruitment, capacity planning, and performance reviews while driving innovation and process improvements in a demanding, international setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in large turn-key projects (planning, engineering, construction).

A Snapshot of Your Day

This position is for a permanent Team Lead (f/m/d) for Project Management South team within the Grid Technology Substations Germany organization. The primary objective is to ensure business continuity, provide stable leadership and growing the team. To achieve this, the role will focus on a balance of leading and developing the PM team and successfully managing our large substation projects. The role includes active communication with customers, local permit authorities and sub suppliers in Germany to achieve our project objectives.

Given the focus on PM leadership, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in managing teams in the field of complex turn‑key projects. Experience in process management and implementation, risk management and project execution are essential.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in science or engineering, or a related qualification with significant experience in the required field of expertise
• Many years of professional experience in large turn‑key projects including planning, engineering and construction
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or team management capacity, responsibility for guiding PM or engineering teams
• Well‑developed behavioral skills including problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and clear, effective communication
• Proficiency in German and good command of English, with a high level of initiative and communication abilities
