Responsibilities
- Lead and manage major construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to Siemens Energy standards, legal requirements, and sustainability guidelines.
- Oversee project scope, setup, design, tendering, contractor selection, execution, and progress monitoring to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Build and guide a high-performing project team, clearly communicating goals, timelines, and strategies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and robust quality standards at all stages.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing transparent project updates and driving continuous improvement in project management processes.
- Promote digitalization, automation, and sustainability by using digital project tools, enhancing reporting, and supporting energy-efficient and green building initiatives across the Real Estate community.
Qualifications
- Long-term experience managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects for industrial facilities, ideally in international and multicultural environments.
- Deep understanding of CAPEX drivers in industrial facility design and construction.
- Proven leadership skills with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience working effectively in multinational, multicultural teams.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in construction engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Excellent command of German.
