Team Lead - Outbound Logistics Operations (m/f/d)

Your Areas of Responsibility:

• Manage and develop a team of three professionals to optimize outbound logistics processes
• Management of the B2B Transportation Flow in the EMEA Region: Responsibility for the strategic alignment of the B2B transportation network, including the selection and management of carriers through annual tenders
• Monitor transportation costs and actively support the annual budgeting process
• Continuously review and adjust SOPs and SLAs, monitor and report KPIs to ensure the highest standards
• Ensure smooth daily transportation operations, including organizing special marketing deliveries
• Accurate and timely invoicing within the scope of outbound logistics
• Close coordination with warehouse locations to ensure that delivery requirements are met
• Contribute transportation expertise to the implementation of logistics solutions and actively participate in end-to-end projects
• Drive continuous improvements and serve as a key user for transportation-related projects across the company, including monitoring and analyzing results

Your profile of qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams, including succession planning
• Extensive experience in transportation with a comprehensive understanding of the transport market
• Familiarity with logistics processes; experience in operational transportation planning is a plus
• Experience working with WMS/TMS; basic SAP knowledge is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and time management to effectively prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with team members and other departments
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail and willingness to work with repetitive tasks
• Proactive, practical work style with a strong solutions-oriented approach
• Fluent in English, very good German skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
