flaconi is seeking a Team Lead for Master Data & Supply Chain Automation in Berlin. You will manage a 9-person data operations team and bridge business operations with IT to implement automation and AI-driven improvements.

The role combines deep MDM expertise with process re-engineering and hands-on Syndigo PIM responsibilities, redesigning supplier data flows across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Proven background in Master Data Management (MDM) and e-commerce product data or supply chain data operations.
• Experience mapping processes, diagnosing root causes, and re-engineering workflows to reduce manual work.
• Hands-on experience with low-code automation tools, AI apps, or smart validation rules in operations.
• Experience with PIM/MDM platforms; Syndigo experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to bridge between operational teams and IT/Tech teams.
• People leadership: able to coach and manage workloads in an agile environment.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

We are looking for a Team Lead for Master Data & Supply Chain Automation (all genders) to manage a direct team of 9 operational specialists. You will combine deep Master Data Management (MDM) expertise and strong process re-engineering skills with a track record of implementing business-side AI and automation tools.

In this role, you will lead our supplier data operations, serve as our primary business super-user for our PIM system (Syndigo), and redesign how supplier data flows across our organization. You will bridge the gap between business operations and technical teams to build scalable, automated processes.

Your Role:

• Analyze end-to-end supplier data flows, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement smart business automation and AI tools to speed up onboarding and maximize data accuracy.
• Act as the core business Super-User for our PIM system (Syndigo). Translate operational requirements into clear system logic and work with internal Tech teams to drive system enhancements.
• Move operations from reactive error-fixing to proactive validation by setting up automated data quality controls and business rules upfront.
• Guide and develop a high-performing data operations team, fostering a culture of ownership, process improvement, and tech adoption.
• Define operational KPIs, tracking onboarding velocity, system SLAs, and data quality metrics to ensure balanced capacity across the team

Your Profile:

• Proven background in Master Data Management (MDM), e-commerce product data, or supply chain data operations.
• Demonstrated success mapping processes, diagnosing root causes, and re-engineering workflows to eliminate manual work.
• Hands-on experience adopting low-code automation tools, AI applications, or smart validation rules within operational workflows.
• Experience working directly with PIM/MDM platforms (experience with Syndigo is a strong plus).
• Strong ability to act as the bridge between operational teams and internal IT/Tech teams.
• People Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage workloads in an agile, changing environment.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
