You will mentor staff, optimize daily operations, and collaborate with mechanics and customer service to improve service delivery while upholding safety protocols and a strong team culture.

We are looking for a Team Lead – Ops Specialist to oversee and guide our Operations Specialist team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards in e-bike refurbishment and repair. As Team Lead you are the go‑to expert for questions regarding the Inbound Moments, during Shipping or process improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, ensuring workflow efficiency, and maintaining top‑tier quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor: Provide hands‑on guidance, training, and support to a team of Ops Specialists, ensuring continuous skill development and high performance.
• Workflow & Efficiency: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, optimizing processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to service timelines.
• Quality Control: Ensure every refurbished e‑bike meets Upway’s rigorous quality standards before it reaches customers.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross‑functional teams (e.g. Mechanics and Customer service) to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and workshop best practices are adhered to, promoting a safe and organized work environment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous team management experience, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• A passion for sustainable mobility and a customer‑first mindset.
• Willingness to work in a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• PC skills (Email, Office etc.).
• You have good knowledge of English (German is a plus).
