Intersnack IT invites you to assume the "Team Lead IT Infrastructure Services" role, a newly created position. We are seeking an expert to spearhead our team, charting a path towards growth and excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our technological progress, ensuring that our IT infrastructure aligns with the highest security, efficiency, and innovation standards.

How you will spend your time as our Team Lead IT Infrastructure Services

You will be responsible for the strategic development, operational management, and leadership of our IT infrastructure Team.

What you will do :

1. Lead a team of 6 internal staff and 3 external consultants, while coordinating with the local IT teams of 14 Management Units.
2. Manage third-party service providers for the IT operations portfolio, external partners, consultants, and vendors in the areas of networks, end-user computing, data centres, groupware messaging and infrastructure security.
3. Serve as a Business Partner for other internal IT teams and a consulting partner for strategic IT decisions within the company.
4. Develop and take ownership of strategies in alignment with other teams to achieve project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
5. Lead the Team in establishing and maintaining IT infrastructure, Security, and governance standards, collaborating with specialists for detailed execution.
6. Work with globally distributed, cross-functional teams on IT Infrastructure projects as group-wide IT Infrastructure Accountable.
7. Be accountable for infrastructure operations (including SLA / KPI / BCM reporting, Knowledge Management and Documentation) and improvement (technically, commercially, service-wise).
8. Act as a member of escalation bridges, assisting in major incident management as a problem solver.
9. Responsible for sponsoring and driving Intersnack's transformation from decentralised to centralised IT provisioning and related projects, including post-delivery optimisation.

What we expect of you

1. Technical and / or business degree (graduate level preferred) with 5+ years of experience, including similar roles or responsibilities.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the IT Infrastructure Management area, with a desirable 5 years of leadership experience managing multinational teams, vendors, and locations.
3. Technical understanding and delivering solutions across the IT Infrastructure domain, especially Networks (e.g. Cisco), SD-WAN, public / private Cloud, Telephony, outsourced environments and shared services (primarily Microsoft based with Active Directory & Azure), Security (e.g. ISO2700X) and GRC.
4. Strong initiative, organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally while remaining flexible to changing tasks, priorities, roles, and responsibilities.
5. Advantageous candidates hold one of the following certifications : ITIL (V4 desired), Prince 2, TOGAF, or a comparable qualification.
6. A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
