Vaillant Group is seeking a Team Lead Group IT Data Management in Remscheid to shape trusted and reusable enterprise data across the organization. You will lead an international team, drive master data excellence and enable digital transformation through high-quality data and governance.

You will own the data management portfolio, collaborate with process owners and business stakeholders, and deliver harmonized data capabilities to support strategic goals. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management or comparable field.
• Several years of experience in enterprise data management or master data management with leadership of teams or cross-functional delivery in international environments.
• In-depth knowledge of data management disciplines based on DAMA-DMBOK; strong hands-on and leadership with SAP MDG / SAP-based Master Data Hub.

• Establish and enhance enterprise-wide master data lifecycle management for domains such as Material Master and Business Partner data.
• Translate data management principles into governance models, roles, standards and quality controls across the organization.
• Own the Group IT data management application portfolio and roadmap, with SAP MDG at the core.
• Collaborate across functions, countries and tech teams to prioritize demand and deliver harmonized data capabilities.
• Steer projects, budgets, service providers and application services, ensuring stable operations and compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards.

As Team Lead Group IT Data Management, you will shape the foundation for trusted, governed and reusable enterprise data across the Vaillant Group. Together with an international team and key business stakeholders, you will drive master data excellence and enable digital transformation through high-quality data, robust governance and scalable solutions. You will combine people leadership, strategic thinking and operational excellence while contributing to a more sustainable future.

• Together with Global Process Owners, Data Domain Owners and business stakeholders, you establish and continuously enhance enterprise-wide master data lifecycle management for domains such as Material Master and Business Partner data
• You translate data management principles into practical governance models, roles, standards and quality controls, ensuring trusted and reusable data across the organization
• Your responsibilities include owning the Group IT data management application portfolio and roadmap, with SAP Master Data Governance and related solutions at the core of the data management landscape
• By collaborating across business functions, countries and technology teams, you prioritize demand and deliver harmonized data capabilities that support strategic business goals and digital transformation initiatives
• You ensure operational excellence by steering projects, budgets, service providers and application services while maintaining stable operations, continuous improvement and compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management or a comparable field
• Experience: You bring several years of experience in enterprise data management or master data management and have successfully led teams, consultants or cross-functional delivery organizations in complex international environments
• Know-how and skills: You possess in-depth knowledge of data management disciplines based on DAMA-DMBOK and have strong hands-on and leadership experience with SAP Master Data Governance and/or SAP-based Master Data Hub solutions
• Nice to have: Experience with PTC Windchill, Salesforce and integrated SAP landscapes is highly valued, particularly regarding master data dependencies and enterprise-wide integrations
• Personality: You demonstrate a servant leadership mindset, build trust across business and IT, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and inspire teams through a strong customer and outcome orientation
• Language skills: You have excellent English communication skills and ideally German language skills
