Vaillant Group is seeking a Head of Group IT - Sales & Service to steer the global IT strategy across lead-to-order, order-to-cash and service processes. You will lead an international team, drive major transformations, and ensure scalable, cost-efficient solutions aligned with business goals.

You will define the global IT roadmap, manage budgets, governance, and vendor relationships, while advancing digital transformation through AI and automation across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in IT, CS, BIS or a comparable field.
• 12+ years international IT leadership experience.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise applications.
• Ability to manage large budgets, portfolios and vendors.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.

As Head of Group IT - Sales & Service, you set the strategic and operational direction for the global IT domain supporting our lead-to-order, order-to-cash and service-to-retention value streams. You lead an international organization and connect business strategy, end-to-end process design and technology delivery. Your mission is to provide reliable, scalable and cost-efficient solutions that improve customer and employee experience while accelerating the Vaillant Group's digital transformation.

• You define and continuously evolve the global IT strategy, target architecture and multi-year roadmap for Sales, Marketing and Service, ensuring that our Salesforce- and SAP-based platforms support our lead-to-order, order-to-cash and service-to-retention value streams in a scalable and future-ready manner
• Together with senior business and IT stakeholders, you drive major transformation initiatives, including global template harmonization, international rollouts, CRM evolution, digital commerce integration, loyalty programs and application management services to accelerate our digital transformation journey
• Your responsibilities include establishing effective governance for demand, portfolio and template management, ensuring that investments, resources and budgets are prioritized transparently and aligned with strategic business objectives
• By fostering innovation through automation, data and artificial intelligence, you ensure stable, secure and compliant solutions while continuously improving efficiency, customer satisfaction and employee experience across the organization
• You build trusted partnerships across Business and IT, represent Group IT in senior governance bodies and executive discussions, and create alignment between technology capabilities and business priorities on a global scale

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: You hold a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration or a comparable field
• Experience: You bring at least 12 years of international IT leadership experience leading complex, cross-functional business and IT transformations, global template programs and international rollouts with significant enterprise impact.
• Know-how and skills: You possess strong expertise in commercial and service‑related value streams, ideally covering lead-to-order, order-to-cash and service-to-retention processes, combined with substantial experience in Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise application landscapes
• Governance and commercial acumen: You have the ability to manage large portfolios, substantial budgets, strategic vendors and sourcing models, translating business strategy into clear priorities, platform capabilities and investment decisions.
• Personality: You are a strategic, collaborative and accountable leader who builds trust across functions, navigates complexity with confidence and successfully influences senior stakeholders in international environments
• Language skills: You are fluent in English and can communicate effectively at executive level; German language skills are considered an advantage
