BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS, Finance is more than just a department—it's the backbone of our business triumphs. It's the fuel that powers streamlined financial management and meticulous control, supporting every aspect of our operations. From Financial and Cash Flow Management, to Accounting, Long-Term Financing, Tax Management, Investment Strategy, Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting, Forecasting, and comprehensive Financial Reporting and Analysis. Ideally, Finance acts as a strategic partner advising and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders, and Managers in their pivotal decisions.
Operating as a shared service across the HRS Group, the team of approximately 40 experts thrives on collaboration. Guided by the CFO and his management team, they focus on efficiency through standardized workflows and leverage cutting-edge decision-making tools and insights to bolster the company´s resilience in rapid change.

POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne or Berlin-based Team Lead Global Accounting (all genders) to lead a team of accounting professionals and drive overall process optimization.
You will report directly to the Director of Accounting & Tax and collaborate with various stakeholders across the Group.

CHALLENGE

• Responsibility for preparing consolidated annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements of the HRS Group
• Ensure reporting for subsidiaries as part of the reporting processes
• Support foreign subsidiaries in all accounting matters
• Prepare monthly bank reports and other ad hoc reports
• Operationally execute consolidation, intercompany recharges, and daily business
• Secure continuous improvement of accounting processes
• Act as contact person for auditors and tax advisors of foreign subsidiaries
• Lead and coach a team of up to 3 people
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed university degree in business administration or a comparable apprenticeship; additional qualification as a certified accountant is a plus
• Significant leadership experience in group accounting with complex structures
• Several years as an audit manager in an auditing firm
• Deep knowledge of accounting standards (especially HGB) and tax issues
• Experience with internal group consolidation processes
• Knowledge of cross-border transfer pricing systems
• Proficiency in SAP, LucaNET, and MS Office is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
