Team Lead Application Engineering (m/f/d) Weller - DE - Besigheim

Job Summary

In this role, you will serve as a key interface between engineering, sales, and customers. You will lead a specialized team focused on developing innovative solutions for demanding soldering and filtration applications. Your responsibilities will include actively shaping the expansion of service offerings and training programs, while contributing to long-term customer loyalty and business growth. Additionally, you will act as a central point of contact for technical inquiries and complaints, ensuring smooth communication both internally and externally.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of application engineers
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and customers to design technical solutions for complex soldering and filtration challenges
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships to identify needs, service opportunities, and drive future growth
• Support the continuous expansion of the aftermarket service portfolio
• Contribute to the development of the Weller University training program
• Assist in handling technical complaints in cooperation with Quality, Product Management, and R&D
• Ensure the availability and quality of the technical helpline for internal and external stakeholders



Critical Skills & Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in soldering technology, service, and applications
• Completed technical education, ideally with further qualification as a state-certified technician in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or as a technical business administrator
• IPC certification in soldering technology
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and SAP
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
