About the RoleCODE is looking for a Teacher Assistant for the module (SE_02) and the associated course, Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures.

In this position, you will support our students in their learning experience by:

• Helping to create a fun, rigorous environment for students to learn.
• Answering student questions and supporting them to progress in their learning journey through office hours, Slack, Google Classroom, and during LUs.
• Ensuring that essential course feedback reaches faculty.
• Running practice sessions for students, and helping with content & challenges they are struggling with.(SE_02) Reviewing student hand-ins and giving them feedback throughout the semester.

We’re looking for someone with the following skillset:

• Desire to help fellow students. (Experience teaching or tutoring is a plus.)
• Some understanding and practical experience with Python. (Experience with other programming languages plus.)
• Passed the module Algorithms and Data Structures or similar.

For working student positions at the company, we need you to meet the following requirements:

• Being currently matriculated at a German university.
• Having a registered address in Germany and a German tax number.
• Having the right to work in Germany.
• Having a German bank account.

What you can expect:

• Contract type: MinijobDuration: Fall Semester 2026 (1st Aug - 31st Jan))
• Part-time position (maximum 320 hours for the total duration of the contract)
