Responsibilities:

• Act as a competent contact for colleagues and other departments in accounting and tax matters.
• Support the preparation of corporate tax returns in close cooperation with tax advisors.
• Monitor tax-relevant payments for accuracy and completeness.
• Post transactions in sales tax, corporate tax, trade tax, and payroll tax, ensuring correct account allocation.
• Conduct internal controls in the tax area and assist with tax audits.
• Support tax calculation within the framework of periodic financial statement determination.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in financial accounting and invoice processing.

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed training as a tax clerk, financial accountant, or a comparable qualification, ideally with initial insights into tax law and finance.
• Initial relevant professional experience in the specified areas of responsibility or a comparable position.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and good language skills in German and English.
• Demonstrates a sense of responsibility, structured and solution-oriented working style, and a strong understanding of numbers.
• Flexible, willing to learn, and interested in economic contexts.
