JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Berlin is seeking a Tax Operations Associate to help build and execute German income tax operations for Chase Digital Bank in Germany.

You will work closely with Operations teams to develop new or updated processes, controls, and technology user guides, while ensuring tax obligations meet service level standards and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics or natural science.
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics or natural science.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the financial industry; exposure to German income taxes preferred.

• Leading activities in fulfilling the German Income Tax-reporting obligations.
• Support onboarding of new products and reporting obligations.
• Operate daily controls via a process-flow application to meet tax regulations and SLAs.

In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion, we’re looking for a passionateTax Operations Associate to join our organization who can help us build and execute tax operations activities for the Chase Digital Bank in Germany.

As a Tax Operations Associate, you will work closely with other Operation-teams to execute German Income Tax-related obligations and create a best-in-class customer experience. This role will require the creation of new or changing of existing operating flows, procedures, controls, and technology user guides together with project-orientated (leading) activities. You will also build relationships with colleagues in other Operations and Corporate Functions.

Job responsibilities

• Leading activities in fulfilling the German Income Tax-reporting obligations
• Support in project-orientated activities when it comes to onboard new products and/or to assess new reporting obligation
• Operate daily controls and tasks supported by a process-flow orientated application to ensure German Income Tax-regulations are meeting service level standards
• Build relationships with colleagues in Operations and other Corporate Functions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• At least 2 years’ experience in the financial industry
• Experience in the field of German Income Taxes and/or closely related subject areas
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics or natural science
• Risk and control mindset
• Data-centric with an analytical approach
• Strong communication skills in both German and English languages
• Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics or natural science
