The Tax Manager Germany (m/f/d) is responsible for managing the tax environment and tax declarations of our four German entities.

We seek someone who thrives in an international, dynamic environment, values autonomy and agility, is solution-oriented, and aims to enhance tax compliance awareness, support business inquiries, and ensure conformity and deadline adherence.

This position reports to the Head of Finance Germany, is based in Cologne, and involves regular communication with the LVMH tax department and the finance project leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage German tax environments: Corporate tax & CIT, Withholding tax (50a), VAT, and support wage tax treatments if needed.
• Oversee the application of external tax compliance assessments and collaborate with relevant departments (HR, finance) to ensure correct implementation.
• Calculate corporate tax for our GmbH for shareholder reporting and prepare tax documentation based on actual data and budget exercises.
• Maintain transfer pricing policies based on international tax knowledge.
• Act as the primary contact during tax audits and coordinate data collection.
• Assess withholding tax applications on various projects in collaboration with creative and legal teams.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax, preferably with prior roles as a tax advisor and in-house counsel.
• Have applied for the German tax certificate exam.
• Solution-oriented with a structured approach to managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Willing to take responsibility and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication and tax treatment validation.
• Fluent in English and German.
