Our Finance Department works diligently and responsibly every day to provide us with the necessary stability to pursue our innovative and patient-driven business model. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and experienced Tax Manager (all genders) for International Tax Law & Transfer Pricing to support our Director of Finance and the management in all tax and business management issues to contribute to the optimal design of our business processes. As a new member of our finance team, you should be interested in continuous learning and development as well as working in an international environment. A challenging task

• Strategic responsibility for transfer pricing documentation - with sound data preparation in cooperation with external partners and the aim of mapping international value creation in a transparent and compliant manner.
• Active involvement in shaping a sustainable financial architecture through the development and ongoing optimization of internal accounting guidelines, process standards and procedural documentation.
• Acting as a driving force in the area of tax compliance - by identifying potential, implementing efficient processes and strengthening holistic, tax-compliant corporate action.
• Handling challenging VAT issues in an international context, with a focus on country-specific features and ensuring legally compliant solutions.
• Coordination of VAT obligations in other EU countries in close consultation with local tax advisors - for consistent, secure and smooth fulfillment of all requirements.
• Assuming overall tax responsibility for companies in Hamburg, including annual financial statements and tax returns - with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Active involvement in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) - embedded in a professional finance team with the aim of continuously improving quality and efficiency.

A convincing background

• Degree in Business (with a focus on tax law, accounting or finance) or completed apprenticeship as a tax clerk with relevant professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the field of tax, preferably in an international corporate environment or in tax consulting
• Sound knowledge of national tax law and experience with international VAT and transfer pricing issues
• Confident handling of HGB and processes relating to transfer pricing documentation and tax compliance
• Strong analytical thinking skills combined with a strategic understanding of tax and financial interrelationships
• High sense of responsibility, flexibility and decisiveness in terms of entrepreneurial action
• Ability to think and act across departments - with an eye for the big picture and a proactive communication style
• Structured, quality-conscious way of working and enjoyment of continuous improvement
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
