• You will work independently on processing tax audit requests (e.g., external audit, payroll tax audit) and implementing resulting adjustments for Roche in Germany.
• You will be responsible for providing tax advice to the travel expenses team and event management, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and Roche guidelines, and supporting process changes.
• You will create and update internal guidelines and training on tax changes and compliance.
• You will be the contact person for tax issues related to payroll tax, payroll processes, including cross-border commuter taxation and secondments, as well as property tax.
• You will support the preparation of the annual tax invoice, maintenance of the tax file, review of the monthly tax invoice and tax assessment, and tax payment management for Roche Deutschland Holding GmbH.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or commercial training with a focus on taxes, including an additional tax qualification (tax consultant).
• You have gained several years of professional experience in tax and accounting, focusing on payroll tax law.
• Your strengths include strong teamwork and customer orientation, along with a deep understanding of business processes.
• You are familiar with an independent, proactive working style and proficient in SAP, MS Office, and Google applications.
• You possess an understanding of integrated processes, tax, and financial contexts.
• You have a high level of resilience, a willingness to undergo continuous training, and good communication skills in German and English.
