About the Role

As a Talent Partner, you will be the strategic advisor for talent management, learning and strategic workforce planning for CorSo, Swiss Re's commercial insurance arm and Swiss Re Group Underwriting. You will collaborate with leaders in CorSo, GUW and our Group Talent & Inclusion Team to design and implement initiatives that drive business performance while ensuring alignment with our global HR standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create and implement the talent strategy aligned with people priorities and global Talent & Culture standards, measuring impact and ensuring successful execution
  • Analyse training needs to ensure effective delivery, impact of learning outcomes, and return on investment
  • Facilitate and coordinate Organizational Talent Review sessions for Executive Committee leadership teams, including succession planning and talent pipeline development
  • Manage and analyse employee engagement surveys, providing insights and monitoring action plans to ensure quality employee experiences
  • Champion culture and inclusion initiatives as fundamental components of Talent Management processes
  • Stay informed on talent projects related to performance culture, leadership development, and other key areas
  • Support implementation of People & Talent actions derived from annual strategic workforce planning
  • Coordinate with specialists across the organization to proactively address Talent topics with data insights, materials, and metrics
  • Operationalize Talent & Culture changes to Group processes across CorSo and GUW, taking ownership of implementation
  • Interpret and leverage people-related data and analytics to diagnose root causes of talent and learning challenges

You are a strategic HR professional who understands the critical connection between talent management, capabilities, learning, development, strategic workforce planning and business success. You thrive in collaborative environments while maintaining the confidence to lead initiatives independently. Your data-driven approach is balanced with strong people skills that allow you to influence at all levels of the organization.

While staying current with external HR best practices and emerging trends, you bring creative problem-solving abilities balanced with practical implementation skills. Your experience in anticipating future challenges allows you to develop viable solutions proactively. You demonstrate a willingness to take ownership and accountability for projects and activities, seeing them through to successful completion.

We need you to bring in the following must haves:

  • Experience in talent management, learning, organizational effectiveness, strategic workforce planning, people, and cultural transformation
  • Proven track record of driving culture change programs and implementing successful talent solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with data interpretation abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell compelling stories using data
  • Experience in coaching and supporting behavioural change and career development conversations
  • Global mindset and experience working in matrix organizations #LI-Hybrid
For Germany the base salary range for this position is between EUR 89.000 and EUR 148.000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognize your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits. Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
