Job summary

We are supporting a growing engineering business based near Munich in the appointment of an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist or Senior TA Specialist to support continued business growth.

This is a hands-on recruitment position, with responsibility for directly sourcing, engaging, assessing and securing candidates across a range of manufacturing, engineering, technical and operational disciplines.

The business is looking for someone who enjoys the delivery side of recruitment, is confident approaching candidates directly and can manage multiple live vacancies in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.

We are open to recruiters at different levels of seniority, with the scope and remuneration reflecting individual experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Take direct ownership of end-to-end recruitment activity, from initial vacancy briefing through to sourcing, interviewing, offer management and onboarding coordination.
• Proactively identify and approach candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, databases and other direct sourcing channels.
• Deliver recruitment campaigns at volume across manufacturing, engineering, technical and operational functions, often managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews, assessing technical suitability, experience, motivations and overall fit for the business.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, challenge expectations where appropriate and maintain momentum throughout the recruitment process.
• Build and maintain pipelines of relevant candidates to support both immediate vacancies and future workforce requirements.
• Take responsibility for recruitment activity, candidate engagement, interview coordination and successful hiring outcomes.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve recruitment processes, sourcing methods and the overall candidate experience.

About You

• Strong recruitment experience within manufacturing (automotive is desirable), engineering, technical or industrial environments, gained either internally or within an agency.
• Proven ability to personally source, engage and recruit candidates rather than relying on external recruitment agencies.
• Experience delivering recruitment at volume, including managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• Confident using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching and other direct sourcing methods to identify and engage talent.
• Comfortable conducting candidate interviews, managing recruitment processes and working directly with hiring managers.
• Organised, proactive and delivery-focused, with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of recruitment activity.
• Fluent English communication skills are essential, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working predominantly onsite near Munich, with some flexibility for hybrid working.
