Development Engineer - System Protection

We are seeking a development engineer to work in the area of overall system protection. Key responsibilities include:

1. Development in the area of overall system protection
2. Responsibility for project-specific requirements analysis for protection
3. Creation of subsystem specifications
4. Evaluating different requirements and approaches
5. Specification and communication of development needs within the interdisciplinary protection team
6. Serving as the point of contact for relevant partners in the project
7. Analyzing and reporting complex technical data both internally and externally
8. Providing technical input at the system level to determine optimal design solutions

Qualifications

• Academic degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on design/system integration or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in engineering/requirements management
• Experience in the defense industry and military vehicle construction is desirable
• Knowledge in mine and ballistic protection, active protection, signature management, and CBRN is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Confident appearance and assertiveness
• Willingness to travel occasionally
