Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Mission Support System for Airbus, Manching

We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space, and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Mission Support System".

Responsibilities:

• Modeling of system designs in an agile approach for functional areas of the system
• Further development of functions such as route calculation, POIs, Graphical Information System, database, IT security, considering architectural goals and trade-offs
• Creating software requirements and coordinating with software developers during development, implementation, and verification
• Creating automated system and software tests
• Participating in and preparing meetings with customer representatives and internal stakeholders
• Supporting the further development of agile working methods as a team

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT systems design and requirements management involving disciplines such as software engineering
• Experience with agile development projects (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) is a plus
• Knowledge of project control tools (Jira, Confluence) is necessary
• Knowledge of requirement management tools (IBM DOORS, Jama) and version control (Git) is a plus
• German language skills are advantageous
