Job description
Tasks
- Contributing to all systems engineering activities to develop safe, cost-effective and deployable solutions
- Analysing and transforming customer requirements into technical system concepts
- Specifying, designing, integrating, verifying, certifying and ensuring the airworthiness of mission systems (airborne and ground-based components)
- Taking technical responsibility for defined subsystems and equipment
- Planning, conducting and documenting laboratory, ground and flight tests, including on-site operational evaluations
- Providing lifecycle support for mission systems, including mission planning and support systems
- Evaluating new technologies and architectures, including cost-benefit analyses for operators and manufacturers
Requirements
- University degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science or aerospace engineering
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and in the aerospace sector
- Solid experience in systems engineering activities as well as application of standards such as DO-178, DO-278, DO-254, ARP4754
- Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements management
- Very good knowledge of DOORS; experience with digital ICD design tools (e.g. CAMEO, ICDMS) is an advantage
- Practical experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence) is desirable
- Fluent English skills (min. C1) and good German skills (min. B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
- CV in English is mandatory
