SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Systems Administrator to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Perform comprehensive systems administration duties to support theater-wide program end-users, including equipment configuration, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and service restoration.
- Oversee network monitoring and O&M to sustain network readiness.
- May support project planning by contributing to network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination.
- Manage and mentor subordinate personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
- An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI .
- DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 451 Certs: SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or FITSP-O or GFACT or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
- Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven administrative support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
- Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction .
- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations .
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700 .
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs .
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
