The SOSi team is growing in Europe and we are looking for a talented and dedicated Systems Administrator to support a program based in Wiesbaden, Germany. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our organization's Storage Area Network (SAN).SOSi is a family-owned government contractor with a long history of providing technical solutions to customers performing challenging missions.
- Provide Administrative support for servers, applications, and workstations.
- Utilize Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies and implement storage solutions.
- Apply provided patches to keep workstations and servers in compliance with IAVM requirements.
- Provide creative solutions to mission requirements to maintain operational status of servers and workstations.
- Interact daily with the customer to meet mission requirements.
- Maintain compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements.
- Remain abreast of emergent technologies.
- Manage virtual servers through the use of vSpehere and VMWare products.
- Active in-scope DoD secret security clearance.
- An Associates degree in an IT related field.
- Two years IT experience can be substituted for education.
- IAT Level II certification such as Security+ or equivalent is required at start date.
- Three to five years System Administration experience.
- The ability to work in a high pace environment with a team to accomplish mission requirements.
- Has proficient writing, oral communications, and presentations skills.
- Must be approved by the USG and qualify as a Technical Expert under the U.S. SOFA in Germany.

Preferred Qualifications- Server+ certification.
- VCP certification.
- Proficient with workstation, application server, and database server interactions.
- Familiarity working in an Army environment.
- Fluency in a foreign language is desired but not required.
Work Environment- Typical office working environment in a building with multiple floors and stairs.
- Occasional need to support after hours and weekend as required by mission requirements.
- 8 hour shift between hours of operation, 40 hours per week.
- Medium sized team including Engineers, Sr. and Jr. Sys Admins.
