We're seeking a talented System Tester to join us initially for a 1-year maternity leave replacement, starting as soon as possible. Located in Rüsselsheim, our company nexonar offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real impact.

nexonar is a leading provider of real-time location solutions for the car and aircraft manufacturing industry as part of the Desoutter-Ecosystem. Since 2022, nexonar has been part of the Atlas Copco Group, the world's leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions.

The System Tester (m/f/d) is a member of the R&D team for nexonar and is responsible for structured system testing of the nexonar software suite to ensure high system quality.

Your role includes:

1. Planning and coordinating various test activities
2. Maintaining Test Catalogue and Procedures
3. Developing and defining suitable test methods and tools
4. Documenting test activities and preparing results
5. Defining and monitoring quality goals
6. Collaborating closely with architecture, design, and development teams

What we expect from you:

• You have a post-secondary education with a degree or diploma in informatics or similar experience
• Qualification in Testing, e.g., ISTQB or equivalent
• Proficiency in German (basic) and excellent English skills, both verbal and written

Preferred skills include:

• Ability to report, track, and create test reports
• Experience working on migration projects
• Knowledge of test tools (e.g., JMeter, Squish)
• Knowledge of frontend and backend testing
• Good programming knowledge in general-purpose or scripting languages (automation, data generation, analysis)
• Experience with ticket systems (e.g., Redmine) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Organized, self-driven, and analytical mindset
• Enjoyment of hands-on, collaborative team work
• Ability to foster positive relationships with regional and global colleagues
