What you will do

We are looking for an experienced System Senior Architect (f/m/d) for our CPIT Private Cloud Delivery team, specifically in the Private Cloud Customer Self Service area. The role requires end-to-end architecture expertise in Cloud Solutions on SAP BTP and hands-on experience with NodeJS, React, Java, or similar languages. The focus is on developing solutions that enable internal stakeholders to seamlessly sell, build, provision, and manage infrastructure landscapes for SAP’s private cloud customers.

As a System Senior Architect (f/m/d), your responsibilities include:

• Architecting solutions for the Customer Self-service Portal.
• Developing compelling solution proposals, conducting technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and effort estimations, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure optimal customer experience.
• Focusing on scalability and automation in architectural decisions.
• Explaining architecture ideas and providing technical guidance to team architects and developers.
• Working with Product Management and Product Owners to align priorities and progress.
• Collaborating with other product owners, architects, and developers across workstreams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Aligning applications with Corporate Strategy in cooperation with Enterprise Architecture.
• Participating in refinement sessions with business stakeholders to verify technical feasibility of requirements.
• Engaging in Agile/SAFe ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

What you bring

• 8+ years of experience as an architect or senior developer with architectural design expertise.
• Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture.
• End-to-end implementation experience, from requirements to deployment, using Cloud Application Programming.
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS, Typescript, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in System Integration, API management, or middleware technologies.
• Experience working in an agile environment following SAFe methodology.
• Strong analytical skills with fluency in English (oral and written).
• Nice to have: BTP AI Services, ABAP.
