As a System & Safety Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our certification and system development efforts. You will ensure our innovative energy systems meet global compliance and safety standards while supporting technical design and system architecture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, cross-functional collaboration, and environmental impact.
Lead and coordinate certification processes, including collaboration with external certification bodies and preparation of documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant technical regulations and standards, and monitor regulatory changes
Translate regulatory requirements into system requirements suitable for hardware, software, and mechanical team
Incorporate safety into product development and system design
Support failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and related diagnostic activities
Prepare for and participate in internal and external compliance audits
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Knowledge in safety-critical systems
Solid understanding of compliance topics, such as Chemical, EMC & Radio Emission, or Battery standards
Strong communication and documentation skills
Business fluent German and English are mandatory
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
