We are looking for you, located in Trier (with 60% home office option) as a
Your responsibilities:
- Planning, installation, and management of ORBIS environments and periphery during all phases of the software lifecycle, including initial setup of development, continuous integration, QA, and release environments, as well as decommissioning.
- Operation and maintenance activities such as updates, upgrades, installation of additional software, health checks, monitoring, and decommissioning/archiving.
- Monitoring infrastructure to ensure availability and proactive problem solving.
- Analyzing update logs and managing defects related to updates.
- Packaging ORBIS software deliveries and conducting technical checks to ensure quality and content compliance.
- Supporting internal customers in development, QA, and other departments.
- Automating workflows in collaboration with tooling developers.
- Onboarding new software into the test environment in cooperation with testers, product owners, and developers.
Your qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience in a service or customer-oriented professional IT environment.
- Over 5 years of IT technical experience, including software administration and operation.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.), Linux OS, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Interest in and ability to automate workflows and activities.
- Ability to quickly understand system relationships and dependencies; additional knowledge in GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Terraform, Wildfly is advantageous.
- Precise work with high quality standards.
- Good self-organization skills and multitasking ability.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented attitude.
Optional skills:
- Knowledge of additional scripting languages (Python, Go, Groovy).
- Experience with ORBIS operation & administration.
- Experience with Jenkins Automation Server.
- Experience in Oracle Database administration.
