System Engineer – IT Onsite Support

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an IT technician to perform IMAC/R/D services in complex public-sector environments. You will install and configure workstations, manage Active Directory and terminal servers, and provide 1st- and 2nd-line support both on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities also include hardware rollouts, onboarding new staff, MDM support, documentation, and asset data management. German and English skills are required, with a valid Class B driving license.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent with several years in a similar role.
• Security clearance (SÜ) present or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent technical knowledge of workplace systems (PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, smartphones, etc.).
• Practical experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Solid networking knowledge (switches and routers).
• Experience with ticketing systems including asset management.
• Fluent German language skills and solid English skills.
• Valid driving license (Class B) required.

• Administer Active Directory and maintain terminal server environments.
• Process and qualify service requests and provide 1st and 2nd level support.
• Support hardware and software for PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile devices on‑site, remotely and by phone.
• Execute hardware rollouts, refresh and lifecycle projects.

Qualifications

• Practical experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
• Solid networking knowledge, specifically switches and routers.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Office applications and Office 365.
• Experience with ticketing systems including asset management.
• Basic networking know‑how (WAN, VLAN, VPN, etc.).
• Fluent German language skills and solid English skills.
