System Engineer in Secure and Quantum Communication (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Participation in or lead of proposals and subsequentstudies / projects (phases 0 / A / B) and technology development programs withfocus on secure and quantum communication
• Preparation of proposals and subsequentimplementation projects (phases B / C / D / E) with focus on secure / quantumcommunication
• Security analyses and certificationactivities with respect to secure or quantum communication mission, payloadsand components
• Vulnerability analyses and threat/riskanalyses
• Support and advice for security validation accordingto ISO27k and certification according to CC/ITGS of the BSI
• Analysis and definition of customer, mission andsystem requirements
• Technical coordination / Systems Management
• Definition of study logic, work breakdown and workpackages
• Management of work packages and sub-projects
• Trade-offs of technical and programmatic solutions
• Specifications of systems and subsystems, interfaceengineering
• Deriving security system requirements specifications and systemarchitectures and develop cyber securityconcepts
• Strong interaction with system design to ensurecommon understanding of the cyber security threats, risks, features, and asmooth implementation
• Budgetsdefinition and engineering

Your Qualifications

• Master degree in (aerospace) engineering, physics,mathematics, computer science or equivalent
• Experience in the design and implementation ofsecure and quantum communication systems for ground and space
• Technical knowledge and experience in key managementsystems
• Technical knowledge and experience in crypto systems
• Experience in assessing the security risk accordingto the EBIOS or ISO method
• Ideally experience in leading small teams in projectmanagement and technical roles
• Having a passion for providing systematic approaches to prove the securityproperties of our systems
• Ability to work in a team with a self-managed andpro-active working style
