Summary
We are looking for a "System Engineer for the Hardware Framework (f/m/d)" for the "Software and Hardware Framework" department at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

In order to provide the best possible protection for people and materials, current development trends are moving in the direction of increasing the number and type of sensors in order to record as much information as possible. As people's ability to evaluate this information is not increasing to the same extent, intelligent algorithms are needed to evaluate this sensor data and put it in relation to each other.

In this way, a picture of the overall situation is generated, which relieves the operator and at the same time protects him in the best possible way. Your task will be to support, design and define the further development of the hardware framework, in particular the embedded image processing platform, in order to offer our users a better overview and greater safety.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the further development of the hardware framework, in particular the embedded image processing platform
• Product owner of the agile hardware framework team
• Requirements analysis and conception of projects and products from various business areas for the use of the hardware framework, in particular the embedded image processing platform
• Translating the requirements from the business areas into project-specific customer stories
• Creating cross-sectional requirements and customer stories for the hardware framework, in particular the embedded image processing platform
• Making strategic implementation decisions
• Prioritizing activities in the agile team
• Supporting internal and external development partners

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering or similar
• Experience with embedded hardware and embedded software
• If possible, experience in digital image processing (computer vision)
• Experience in agile development using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo)
• Experience as a system engineer and product owner
• Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
• Ability to grasp and assess topics as a whole
• Analytical thinking and willingness to take personal responsibility
• Very good knowledge of German and English
