We aim to enable sustainable urban air mobility by developing electric air taxis that complement existing transportation in megacities worldwide. Since 2011, we have conducted over 2,000 test flights globally, including the first crewed electric multicopter flight.

Job Description

Your crew during this flight:

Our Electric Propulsion System, comprising advanced batteries, power distribution, and electric motors, is crucial for safe flight. Your experience in developing electrical systems for aviation or integrating electric propulsion components into mobility products will directly contribute to certifying this safe and simple flight experience. You will ensure adherence to system development processes within our Electrical Propulsion System (EPS) team.

Your mission during this flight:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate requirements, design descriptions, and functions at system and component levels to meet aircraft needs.
• Support system and aircraft requirement assessments.
• Specify and support validation and verification activities for aircraft and component requirements per ARP-4754A.
• Assist with formal audits and exchanges with EASA as needed.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in systems engineering, requirement management, and system architecture in aviation (ARP-4754) or similar complex product development.
• Knowledge of certification and development processes.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Doors, Integrity).
• Strong team player with confidence in technical discussions and organizational skills.

Preferred skills:

• Basic knowledge of Li-ion batteries, brushless DC motor control, DC power distribution, digital communication buses, or model-based systems engineering.
• Experience with FMEA and FMECA.
• Knowledge of ARP4761.
