environments. You’ll lead the charge in planning and executing migrations, optimizing systems, and keeping

Location: Aveiro, Portugal

That’s What It’s About

1. Assess on-premises environments using Azure Migrate and develop tailored migration strategies (rehosting, re-platforming, refactoring).
2. Plan and execute migrations from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments (Azure, VMware, hybrid).
3. Deploy and manage Azure networking components such as NSGs, Firewalls, and VNETs, maintaining security and performance standards.
4. Manage and troubleshoot Azure VMs, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
5. Use tools like Azure Migrate and VMware HCX to support seamless migrations.
6. Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum performance.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable, and efficient.
8. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems, implementing best practices for performance and reliability.
9. Stay up to date on Azure advancements, recommending process improvements, and leveraging new tools to enhance cloud migration efforts.
10. Maintain detailed system documentation and continuously improve infrastructure processes.
11. Bring strong technical, analytical, and supervisory skills with a collaborative mindset.

This is you

3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.

1. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
2. Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
3. Experience with Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways) and Azure Virtual Desktop.
4. Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate or VMware HCX.
5. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
6. Good team player with a proactive and positive mindset.
7. English fluency (German and/or Portuguese is a plus).

Nice To Have

1. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305).
2. Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
3. Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
