Your contribution to Prysmian's success includes:
- Creating detailed calculations for materials and services, and preparing technical content for customers.
- Supporting the creation of formal documentation and design information for the manufacturing of cables, accessories, and installation activities.
- Preparing technical documentation for clients and specifications for internal use or subcontractors.
- Acting as the main contact for customers and subcontractors on relevant topics.
- Working on specific aspects during the proposal phase that are not fully defined, such as:
Designing special components, defining/coordinating qualification tests, and developing prototypes (optimizing cable and system designs to reduce project costs). Developing new calculation methods and procedures to ensure all calculations and workflows meet the required technical and quality standards.

You are the right fit if you have / are:
- A master's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or energy.
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, preferably in an EPCI environment.
- Relevant experience in HVDC and HVAC cable business, system design, and engineering, with basic knowledge of cable installation processes.
- Experience in electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical calculations and modeling (e.g., FEM, ATP, EMTP-RV, UFLEX).
- Familiarity with relevant national and international standards.
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Decisiveness, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong teamwork skills, result-oriented, and an ambitious attitude.
