Job description
Tasks
- Analyse customer requirements and translate them into technical system solutions
- Specify, develop, integrate, verify, qualify and certify mission systems (air and ground segment)
- Integrate and manage specific components and subsystems within the mission system
- Plan and execute lab, ground and flight tests, including documentation and customer approval
- Ensure airworthiness of the systems throughout their entire life cycle
- Evaluate innovative technologies and carry out cost-benefit analyses
- Implement aviation standards such as DO178, DO254, ARP4754 etc.
- Contribute to agile development teams and apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods
Requirements
- Master's or diploma degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science or aerospace engineering
- Professional experience in engineering and the aerospace industry
- Experience in systems engineering, including with DOORS and MBSE
- Knowledge of digital interface tools such as CAMEO or ICDMS is an advantage
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is desirable
- Strong MS Office skills and advanced expertise in DOORS
- Business fluent English skills (min. C1), German skills desirable
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
