Position: System Administrator (2nd Level Support)

BWI GmbH operates the RAS Genua VS-NfD service, including the genucard hardware component from genua GmbH. This role is part of the Second Level A Team, which is responsible for the second-level support of these secure remote access hardware products. The team consists of 8 members across Berlin and Nuremberg and is part of a larger department of 30 people at five locations across Germany.
Independently process incidents and service requests within the scope of second-level support
Troubleshoot remote access solutions in both customer and internal environments
Plan, assess, and implement changes in IT services
Contribute to testing and quality assurance in the role of a tester
Install and configure RAS solutions in compliance with security guidelines
Maintain and enhance technical documentation
German: C1 (CEFR)
(Proof required unless native speaker)
ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent proof)
Recognized vocational training in an IT-related profession
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an IT environment
2nd Level Incident Management
Administration or troubleshooting of VPN solutions (e.g., genucard)
Administration in Windows OS environments
Strong teamwork skills
Professional conduct and communication
