System Administrator (m/f/d)

Who we are

Vion is an international producer of meat, meat products, and plant-based alternatives with production sites in the Netherlands and Germany. Vion has sales support offices in sixteen countries worldwide. We supply fresh and frozen pork and beef products, plant-based alternatives, and by-products to the retail, foodservice, and meat processing industries.
Our headquarters is located in Boxtel, the Netherlands.

What you can expect

We offer a versatile role within a leading international food company where you have the space to excel. Your main task is the administration of a merchandise management system (Viper), used by over 1000 users across more than 12 locations in Germany.
Additionally, you will focus on business processes in the office area (purchasing, sales, livestock business) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System), connecting technical devices (scales, scanners, classification devices, PLCs) and designing user interfaces.

System Responsibility Details

• Printing
• Samba Fileshares
• Shell Scripting (key part of the active application)

Oracle

• Database Administration

• Apex
• Application Server (Weblogic / Forms / Reports)

Other tasks

• Collaborate on ongoing projects involving architectural specifications and programming services
• Documentation
• Coordinate with the installation team
• Perform installations during the day, evenings, or Sundays on ACC and Prod, with rollback if necessary
• Support further development of deployment-related programs

Your Profile

• You have a technical college or university degree in IT
• You possess excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset
• You are experienced working in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus
