Position Summary

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position will be responsible for customer technical supports towards on-going and upcoming new projects. Samsung Processors & Companion devices product for Automotive Business are leading in the Automotive industry. As this position will have direct contact with customers, a must-have is an excellent communication skill.

Role and Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Technical Design-in
2. Conduct technical meetings with customers in order to promote new products and address technical issues
3. Conduct technical meetings with customers along with customers' Way of Working
4. Deliver product roadmaps, features, and value propositions to customers
5. Track projects and anticipate customer's requests
6. Identify and communicate current and future customer needs and customers technical requirements
7. Drive development and quality teams to fulfil customers' requirements
8. Provide technical supports throughout the product lifecycle from promotion phase to the end of production
9. Responsible for testing, debugging, delivering, guiding, documenting on SW deliverables
10. Software deliverables are device drivers or libraries in bootloader, Hypervisor, QNX, Linux, Android, and mostly in C programming language
11. Technical support can be remote support or on-site support at customers' locations
12. Work closely with other HW/SW FAEs, with marketing team and with engineering team from all over the world in resolving customer issues
13. Conduct training of sales and marketing employees (product; technology; process; packaging; systems)

Skills and Qualifications

PROFILE REQUIRED:

1. Master of Science degree or equivalent in electronics, physics or related areas
2. 5 to 10 years of technical experience in semiconductor. Ideally in SoC SW development or SoC customer supports
3. Experience in embedded system, C language, radio technology, Ultra-wide band, device driver or middleware in Linux/Android
4. Experience in Bootloader, Linux kernel, Yocto, C++, Python and Java is a strong plus
5. Experience in Agile process, DevOps, CI/CD is a strong plus
6. Self-starter with ability to work under minimum supervision
7. Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
8. Strong customer orientation
9. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
10. Persuasive and professional presentation skills
11. Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
12. Very good written and spoken English – additional languages are a plus
13. Experience in Automotive Semiconductor business is a strong plus
