AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II to support and enhance the company\'s global sustainability program, focusing on carbon emissions analysis and reporting.

The role involves collaborating with operations to implement decarbonization initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, and preparing annual sustainability surveys and reports to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in data science, engineering, sustainability or related field.
• 2+ years experience in sustainability/ESG analytics or related field.
• Experience with ESG data reporting frameworks and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze, and report carbon emissions data across transportation and other logistics activities.
• Support decarbonization initiatives through renewable fuels, energy efficiency and waste reduction projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability practices.
• Assist with annual sustainability surveys and reports.
• Research trends and provide policy updates by geography.

Overview

The Sustainability Data Analytics Specialist II is responsible for supporting and enhancing AIT's global sustainability program. The role will focus on analyzing and reporting carbon emission, identifying opportunities for emission reduction, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Carbon Emission Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report out data on carbon emissions across transportation and other logistics activities. Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards such as the GHG Protocol and the GLEC Framework. Develop and utilize databases and software tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Coordinate with operational groups to ensure data accuracy.
• Decarbonization Initiatives: Support design and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing our AIT's environmental footprint. This includes projects related to renewable fuels, renewable energy, energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate internally and externally to promote sustainability practices and drive engagement in sustainability initiatives.
• Reporting and Communications: Assist with annual sustainability surveys and annual sustainability report.
• Research and analysis: Conduct research on emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements. Provide insights and recommendations. Provide updates on applicable policies by geographies.

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Data Science, Engineering, Sustainability or other related field Required

Experience Qualifications

• 2+ years Business related sustainability or ESG education or experience Required

Skills and Abilities

• Experience with ESG/sustainability in corporate setting
• Experience preferred with carbon emission reporting software or frameworks (GLEC framework, GHG protocol, EcoTransIT, Lune or similar)
• Experience preferred with data analytics or data visualization software (Excel, SQL, PowerBI)
• Must be detail oriented as well as proactive and self-motivated
• Passion for sustainability and decarbonization
